InsuraCove helps consumers compare and get matched with independent third-party providers, and we prioritize safeguarding your personal information while doing so.

What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you complete a questionnaire or request to be matched with a provider on our site. As appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, phone number, state, and answers to qualification questions about your situation. We also automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, device and browser information, and advertising identifiers (such as campaign and ad parameters attached to the link you clicked). You may visit our site anonymously.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

• To match you with providers (this is the core purpose of the service — the answers you provide are used to determine which providers fit your request)
• To share your request with the provider(s) you asked to be matched with, so they can contact you about your inquiry
• To personalize your experience (your information assists us to better respond to your individual needs)
• To improve our website and measure our advertising (we use analytics and advertising pixels to understand which pages and campaigns perform)
• To verify your contact information (for example, by sending a one-time SMS PIN code to the phone number you provide)
• To send periodic emails or texts about your request, where you have consented to receive them

How do we share your information?

When you submit a matching request, you are asking us to share your submission — including your contact details and questionnaire answers — with the independent third-party provider(s) matched to your request (for example, a law firm, licensed insurance agency, or other service provider, depending on the service you requested). Those providers may contact you directly, subject to the consent you gave at submission. We may also work with trusted vendors who assist us in operating our website, delivering leads, and servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep your information confidential. We may release information when required to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. Non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Our site uses cookies dropped by us or third parties (including the Meta pixel) for a variety of purposes, including to operate and personalize the website and to measure and target advertising on other websites.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act); we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products, and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

Canadian residents — PIPEDA

If you are in Canada, the following applies to you in addition to the sections above. We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Where your information is processed

AdMisfits LLC is located at 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Your personal information is stored and processed in the United States, and while it is there it is subject to United States law, including lawful access requests by United States courts, law enforcement and government authorities. By submitting your information you acknowledge this transfer.

Consent, and withdrawing it

We collect, use and disclose your personal information only with your consent, and only for the purposes described in this policy — matching you with licensed insurance providers and having them contact you about your enquiry. You may withdraw your consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message, using the unsubscribe link in any email, or writing to ads@admisfits.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of anything we did before you withdrew it, and we will act on your request within a reasonable period.

Access, correction and accuracy

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, what we have used it for, and to whom we have disclosed it. You may ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete. Write to ads@admisfits.com and we will respond within 30 days, as PIPEDA requires. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we release information.

Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations — including the record of your consent, which we are required to be able to produce.

If you are not satisfied

Contact us first at ads@admisfits.com so we can try to resolve it. If you remain dissatisfied you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, at priv.gc.ca or 1-800-282-1376.

Telephone and electronic messages

Calls are made in accordance with the CRTC’s Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules, including the National Do Not Call List, and commercial electronic messages in accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Where you have given us express consent, we may contact you at the number you provided even if it is registered on the National Do Not Call List.

Quebec

Our insurance offers are not currently available to residents of Quebec, and we do not solicit Quebec residents.
